SQL – Data Definition Language:

DML Commands are used to define the structure of a database, including rows, columns, tables, indexes, and database specifics such as file locations.

Common Commands:

  • CREATE - To create a new database, table, index, view or stored query
  • DROP - To destroy an existing database, table, index, or view.
  • ALTER - Alter an existing database object.
